You ARE the conversation ✨💕✨💕✨💕 I think we’ve been in an era of hyper sexuality in fashion for a while now- people felt repressed for a long time and only recently really felt free to explore in that way- but I think modest fashion is starting to and will continue to make a comeback. It’s like, the fashion industry was all in our “hoe phase” for a while and we’re emerging from that now with a sense of confidence in our bodies and without it being as taboo anymore. There’s still some time to be had in the hoe phase, lol, exploring that taboo, but it’s changing too for sure- becoming something we’re more familiar with now and we can move on to other things.

I remember my mom, a housekeeper at the time, bought me the J Crew sweater I had begged for, and some girl in my dorm "borrowed" it and never gave it back.. I was so mad at how insensitive some people with wealth could be. I later discovered the joys of thrifting and having actual style thankfully!
